Tiny House Envy Tandy

Yesterday I posted a home that used some salvaged materials to build a creative unique house. Today we have more of the same but in a more extreme way. The owner of this this home wanted to keep cost down for her pocket and for the environment. She was concerned about adding to her carbon footprint so went to extremes to incorporate salvaged items. Among those were scraps of barn wood and plywood given new life as stair boxes, storage cubbies, and trim and old wrought iron railings re purposed as shelf brackets. It’s a very unique look. You may not want to go to this extreme but what can you do to reduce , reuse and recycle during your build? If you want to see more of this home, learn about the builder or find out why it’s named Tandy follow the link here: Rocky Mountain Tiny Houses
