Wandering Gypsy : Rising Fawn, Georgia

With the best view from our mountaintop tiny house retreat outside of Chattanooga, sits the Wandering Gypsy Tiny House! Designed by Emily Key, this funky cozy tiny house is built with all recycled materials. Enjoy breathtaking (hot tub) sunsets from the best views on the bluff of Lookout Mountain! Our secluded location is in close proximity to all of Chattanooga’s coveted outdoor adventures! Rock City, Ruby Falls, and Cloud-land Canyon (Waterfall Hikes) are all within a 10 minute drive!

As the tiny house movement has built more momentum, we’ve seen them popping up everywhere. Lately one of the most exciting collaborations has been between the tiny house and the short-term rental market. We all love a good Airbnb or VRBO but now we have the option of living out our tiny house dream even if it’s just for a weekend. This new series of Envy will feature these tiny house/vacation rental love children. We hope you like it!

Wandering Gypsy : Rising Fawn, Georgia

What do Joe and Brian want you to know about themselves?

We are two extremely hard working and ambitious young entrepreneurs. Tiny Living has given us the opportunity to realize what is really important in life! We love the outdoors, love meeting new people, and are dedicated to sharing our passion and lifestyle with you and your family! Brian recently travelled to Africa, helping create a non-profit hang gliding and paragliding project, taking children flying. Joe is a proud husband, dad, and entrepreneur providing memorable human experiences in multiple industries including extreme indoor recreation and hospitality. We know how to have fun and share the joy 🙂

What are the accommodations like?

The Wandering Gypsy has it all for a couple or small group getting away in Nature. We built this funky and eclectic tiny house with all recycled materials, locally sourced, and with lots of time and effort. It is a true testament to tiny living and those that want to build their own tiny house. From cool pallet stairs, to a recycled wine barrel shower, wood slab shelves, and tree bark outlining the doorframes, you will feel like a caravan gypsy cuddling in with your loved one at night! We have a day cuddle nook that folds out to a twin sized bed in the lobby. Our loft boasts a Tuft and Needle mattress, for the best sleep you have ever experienced. You are surrounded by a nice tin roof, that makes for the best sleep in the rain.

What do others have to say about their experience?

“This place was so cute, quaint, peaceful and beautiful!! The complimentary wine and locally roasted coffee were a nice touch upon arrival. The property made very good use of its space, and the availability of the hot tub and fire pit and grill were additional bonuses. It made for a great proposal location!! The tiny home was so close to many trails , great restaurants, a location for people to hang-glide, and Chattanooga!! Note that it is likely guests roughly 6’ or more will likely find some spaces, particularly the shower area, to be somewhat of a tight space while in use. Overall, staying here was an inviting, relaxing, and beautiful experience.” Julia
